An hour after I sent this out, my mom sent me this! I did get two MMR shots! 9/26/86 and 2/20/90. Good job, mom.

I had both measles and rubella as a child (I’m old, before the MMR was available) and remember those illnesses, and the chicken pox vividly.

I hope and pray that no pregnant women were/are exposed during this outbreak.

Thank you for the informative post!

Thank you so much, for you and this column. I am disabled and receive SSDI. I could not survive without it. Some days I can't leave my bed, some days I'm productive. I have chronic pain and autoimmune disorders. If not for Medicare and my husband's insurance, I would be dead.

There are so many frightened Americans who don't even know if their check will show up next month.

I so appreciate your integrity and dedication to providing factual data to those of us who are not getting the answers we need.

Stay you. We need you.

Very well written. I am Deaf but not bedridden. But I depend on SSDI. Keep up the good work! 👍

Thank you! If it's a video, just put subtitles on. Otherwise it's fine. I love reading your posts!👍

Excellent ok. I’ll make a mental note to make sure videos I share do and to add them in the text if they are missing.

I know we talked about this last night. The rubella part. My mom has been vaxxed repeatedly and her body still shows no immunity with tithers checks. So not I got to see if I have some weird genetic loophole.

I’m keeping my eyes on it but it looks like the Texas school who reported rubella may have made a mistake. I’ll look for official word from public health officials.

I have several friends whose immune systems don’t retain antibodies properly. It’s a thing. Which is why herd immunity is so important. BUT ALAS.

Thank you! The flu vaccine info was reassuring. I had a bone marrow transplant for AML, which caused chronic GVHD. So immunocompromised and the thought of there being no effective flu vaccine in the U.S. next year was extremely concerning (to put it mildly). Not only for myself but all other vulnerable Americans.

P.S. Love the meme! 🤣

Some years, the drug companies use the WHO formula even after they weigh in.

I cannot imagine a situation where Pfizer and GSK won’t cash in on the seasonal flu vaccine manufacturing. The one time capitalism works for us?

Thank you so much for your work! I’m appreciate your commitment!

I’m 85-90% housebound at my best. Without your tremendous efforts, and the efforts of others with your knowledge, contacts, and diligence I would never feel safe leaving at all.

I’ve had ME since 2010, but was not diagnosed until 2018. I developed Sjogren’s in 2019 and POTS (post-covid) in 2022. I was moderate before covid, after which my baseline dropped to moderate/severe.

Thank you, again, for your efforts and advice.
